A protest vigil for Gaza was held at the Department of International Relations and Cooperation (DIRCO) in Soutpansberg Road in Pretoria on Friday. The vigil called for the expulsion of the Israeli ambassador to South African.
The vigil was held in response to Israel’s self-proclaimed Operation Protective Edge military assault on the civilian residents of the Palestinian Gaza Strip. Over 90 Palestinians have been killed including 18 children since the bombings started.
