Logos Hope offers an expanded selection of over 5,000 titles at affordable prices. The variety of books include children’s titles, academic texts, science, hobbies, dictionaries, atlases and more.

The Deputy Mayor, Cllr Vera Gumbi, was delighted by the Logos Hope’s visit and welcomed the Logos Hope crew in the City of Umhlathuze. Cllr Gumbi said that the Logos Hope Ship comes at a time where the city needs ideas on how to get the youth reading and focusing more on literacy to improve their lives through knowledge.

“This gives a new angle of those who are eager to learn. This does not only apply to the youth but to everybody who wants to expand their knowledge and learn more. Knowledge is power and you are never too old to learn,” said Gumbi.

Captain Chris Hughes (from the UK), the Master of the Logos Hope ship, was thrilled by the warm welcome by the Deputy Mayor and invited people to take advantage of the opportunity given to them by the Logos Hope.

Managing Director, Seelan Govender (South Africa) said that he has been with the GBA ships for over 15 years in multiple leadership roles. Govender is a success-driven individual who strongly believes in God and has travelled around the world with Logos Hope spreading the word of God.
